A Timeless Spring Trend
A few months ago, I wrote a post called Trending for Spring. From polka dots to retro sunglasses, I shared my favorite trends for the 2018 spring season. (Be on the look out for 'Trending for Summer' very soon!)
Anyway, while I was doing my research on what's hot, I found it odd that florals were listed as a spring trend. I mean, really? Call me Miranda Priestly, but florals for spring aren't exactly groundbreaking.
The Devil Wears Prada reference aside, there's a reason that florals remain popular spring after spring after spring. Unlike most trends that come and go, florals are a spring staple.
Florals are such a timeless trend.
As a pattern, florals can be worn in the office at your Monday morning meeting or downtown for a date night. And I'll be the first to admit that I've worn this jumpsuit (similar, here) on both occasions. When I find a piece this flattering and versatile, I'm a total outfit repeater.
But when paired with a seasonal fad, like crop tops or bell sleeves, florals are a classic that can be oh so trendy.
